Sixer Training Camp by Toa Payoh District @ Pulau Ubin 6/6 - 8/6/09

6 Falcon cubs signed up for the STC conducted by Toa Payoh District, headed by Shun Hua and his team of very capable volunteers!

A wonderful sight in nature. Lotus flower blossoming in muddy pond. The muddier the pond, the more beautiful is the flower. A lesson we can draw from this: The muddy pond signify the obstacles one have to go through. However, it is through overcoming those obstacles that one become tougher and wiser.=)

For the 2nd and 3rd day of the camp, the boys were chaperoned by Mrs Veronica Liew and Mdm Siti. The boys had a real camping experience by the seaside. I personally felt that this was the most interesting STC I had attended. The boys really had authentic opportunity to lead and scout around, truly fulfilling the objective of STC.
